Residence Mont Gelé is situated in Ollomont, in the Gran San Bernardo Valley, at the distance of 18 kilometres from the city of Aosta.

Ollomont is a small mountain village, encircled by white glaciers and high mountains, such as Mont Velan (3747 m), Mont Gelé (3518 m) and Grand Combin (4314 m). It is necessary to add to these other mountains, whose peaks are over 3000 metres.

Situated at 1356 m, Ollomont offers, all year round, the most favourable conditions to spend long stays or weekends.

The village is, in fact, the ideal departure place for a lot of mountains excursions (within everybody’s reach, amateurs and experts). It is sufficient to mention the splendid By Valley, the numerous lakes, bivouacs and refuges, its waterfall and the alpine flora.

Furthermore, there are the Berio ski lift, equipped with artificial snow, the cross-country skiing run, 10 km long ( 3 km are illuminated in the evening and in the night), the waterfalls and a practise wall for climbing.

It is important to remember the alpinism skiing (Zermatt-Chamonix) and the trekking, such as the Combins Tour or the Mountain High Way of the Aosta Valley, whose courses are just near the hotel.
